- Assists in developing project plans to include establishment of business vision, identification and analysis of business processes, analysis of highly complex internal and external customer needs.
- Facilitates capture and implementation of functional business requirements; assists in transformation of functional requirements into system requirements.
- Plans, oversees and directs daily maintenance of website, monitors progress, identifies barriers and recommends corrective action.
- Analyzes business value of proposed business changes and makes priority recommendations to the team.
- Assists business and technical professionals in the analysis and assessment of a variety of business areas and processes.
- Assists with maintaining publication deadlines; developing and reviewing queries and submissions.
- Coordinates and/or performs testing to ensure that websites are accessible and comply with state and federal laws; and compiles findings and prepares reports documenting results.
- Captures, documents and/or implements functional business requirements.
- Consults with, coordinates, facilitates and integrates the activities of business specialists, technical experts, and UX/UI designers.
- Establishes performance targets and measures results through comparative analysis.
- Evaluates, analyzes and implements business processes and departmental information needs and/or assists technical professionals in analysis and assessment of a variety of business areas.
- Stays abreast of the policies, procedures and legislation that may impact various business areas.

The role will focus primarily on two key areas of our team’s work: the administration of TxDOT.gov through our content management system and managing larger UX and technical projects. This includes supporting content authors as they update the website, managing the Digital Asset Management system to ensure standards are maintained, and supporting the various workflows within the CMS. The ideal candidate would be a someone who has experience working with website development and CMS management, is enthusiastic about taking a wholistic approach to the web development process, can manage multiple projects, works collaboratively to find creative solutions, and is interested in growing their skillset. You may spend the morning answering tickets and working directly with content authors, then in the afternoon meet with the CMS and technical teams to discuss system updates and help identify possible solutions. This role reports to the Web Services Branch Manager and works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Employees at this level may assist other staff in performing work of greater complexity.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Computer Science, Manage Info Systems, or related discipline. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Experience: 3 years business-related analysis, technical system analysis and design, project management and/or support. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
