Belmark is seeking an individual to join our team at our Pressure Sensitive plant in De Pere, WI. You may be wondering - what do we do here at Belmark? Well, we create many of the labels, cartons, pressure sensitive and flexible film we as consumers see daily when shopping for various items. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting operators on the floor by ensuring the proper materials are staged by the correct press. This also included the removal of materials once the operators are done using them. Increased production efficiency and increased warehouse accuracy should be the result of these efforts. Responsible for maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of press area to the standards set in place. This person will cross train and fill in on equipment if or when needed including breaks of press operators. Responsible for warehouse organization and accuracy. Will also help maintain press bin accuracy. Will require use of a forklift. This position is designed as a pathway to become a press operator. Come join our innovative, fun, and growing team today!

Schedule:

• 1st shift hours are from 6:00AM - 2:00PM, Monday - Friday

Pay:

• $20.60 - $23 per hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.

What will I do in this role?

• Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Responsible for pulling and putting away raw material.
• Working with shift supervisor and leads in staging material by correct machine.
• May require working with conventional PS warehouse personnel.
• Responsible for the overall appearance of the production area (i.e. sweeping floor, squaring up/cleaning up pallets, emptying garbage, and moving recycling bins).
• Will cross train on presses to fill in if and when needed. This includes breaks and vacations.
• Making sure supply cabinet is stocked as well as replacing waste drum when needed.
• Will transfer material on and off of elevator and into correct warehouse bins.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
• Requires high school education or education equivalent.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, decimals, and fractions as well as standard and metric numbers.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• May be required to work overtime.
• Will require concentration and attention to detail.
• Ability to: Stand and walk for 90% of work time. Stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl for 10% of worktime.
• Ability to: See clearly at 20 inches or less. See clearly at 20 feet or more. Identify colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point. Judge distances and spatial relationships and adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
• Ability to: Use hands for 100% of the work time.
• Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; and 100 pounds or less 5% of work time.
• May required to use sense of smell.
