  Schedule:	This position includes Saturday and Sunday morning shifts, with a flexible start time anytime before 8 AM. Chores typically take 2.5 -4 hours depending on the day and number of horses, and are done independently following a structured checklist.

  Position Summary/Job Duties:	Indigo Trails Farm is looking for reliable, detail-oriented weekend help for Saturday and Sunday morning chores. This position is perfect for someone with horse experience who enjoys working independently and values a well-run, peaceful barn environment. While this is a weekend position, we’d love to find someone who’s also available to occasionally fill in for weekday morning shifts when coverage is needed (not frequent—but very important when it comes up). Job Details: Location: Indigo Trails Farm – Verona, WI Schedule: Saturday & Sunday mornings (start time flexible—anytime before 7:30 AM) Pay: Per chore shift Responsibilities include: • Feeding hay & grain • Administering supplements/medications • Cleaning stalls & paddocks • Filling and checking waterers • Applying/removing blankets, fly gear, or boots • Blowing or sweeping barn aisleways • General tidying of feed room, tack area, and grooming spaces • Occasional light farm maintenance Requirements: - Horse experience is required - Must be dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented - Able to work independently and follow detailed routines - Willingness to fill in on other morning shifts occasionally if needed We are a small, dedicated team that takes pride in providing exceptional care and keeping the facility organized and running smoothly.
