  Job Title: Weekend CNC Swiss Machinist

  Job Description

  We are looking for a skilled Weekend CNC Swiss Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will perform full set-ups in a dynamic job shop environment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting machines, reading complex prints, and setting machines up to hold tight tolerances of +/- 0.0002. Our facility operates primarily with Swiss machines, handling a variety of stainless and exotic materials such as aluminum, Inconel, titanium, and brass.

  Responsibilities

  • Perform full set-ups on CNC Swiss machines.
  • Troubleshoot machines and read complex prints.
  • Set machines up to hold tight tolerances of +/- 0.0002.
  • Operate Swiss machines with live tooling.
  • Conduct an average of one setup per shift, adjusting as necessary for new job setups or repeat tasks.
  • Handle runs varying from 100 to 5,000 parts.

  Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of CNC lathe set-up experience.
  • 2+ years of machining experience in a medical or aerospace environment holding tolerances of +/- 0.0002.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding CNC programs and operational layouts.
  • Ability to set-up and operate CNC Swiss machines.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with live-tooling or multi-axis preferred.
  • Knowledge of tooling applications for exotic metals is a plus.

  
  

  
  

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $83200.00/yr.

  - Climate Controlled and super clean
  - Guaranteed 3% company contribution to 401k (not a match. For example, if you put in 6% they put 3% and if you put 0% they put 3%)
  - 2 weeks PTO right away plus the Minnesota sick pay on top of that
  - Average tenure is 10+ years
  - 12% shift differential

  - Sometimes will have a bonus at the end of the year depending on company performance/profits

  This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis,MN.
