What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process new patient intakes, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate
- Conduct insurance eligibility and benefit checks
- Navigate EMR systems and payer portals efficiently
- Communicate effectively with operations, sales, and referral sources for timely coordination
- Manage and reconcile insurance changes on a weekly basis
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 1 year of recent experience in medical insurance verification and eligibility
- At least 1 year of recent experience working with multiple EMR platforms and insurance portals
- At least 1 year of recent experience in medical referral processing
- Must reside in Florida and have access to a HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Clinical background, such as LPN or MA
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and insurance portals
