St. Ann's Home & School, in Methuen, MA, is a leader in special education and residential programming, offering private day programs, child and adolescent residential services, along with a broad range of outpatient services.

St. Ann’s Home is currently seeking a weekend receptionist to work the following hours: Saturdays 8am-3pm and Sundays 8am-3pm. This position includes occasional holidays. This is a part-time position.

The ideal candidate should have previous receptionist experience with the ability to operate a multi-line switchboard. The candidate must be able to multi-task, remain attentive to detail, and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times.

Job responsibilities include:
• Greeting guests, directing calls, paging employees
• Supporting St. Ann’s security and emergency procedures
• Performing data entry tasks and other select tasks utilizing Microsoft Office
• Copying and creating documentation as needed
• Performing other clerical/receptionist duties as directed by staff

Secretaries must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, bend, lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, and operate various transcription machine equipment. Secretaries must be able to operate telephone switchboard and work extensively on a computer or typewriter.

The mission of St. Ann's Home & School is to provide a continuum of assessment, treatment, educational, and community-based services for children, adolescents, and young adults who present with a variety of mental health, emotional, and educational challenges. We seek to provide state-of-the-art programming and services in collaboration with these clients, their families, and other community and state agencies to help them manage their disabilities through our residential, day school, and community outreach programs with the goal of supporting the child in the least restrictive setting.
