      Job: Welcome Center Associate

      Shift: Nights (12 Hour Shifts)

      Location: Mars Petcare (Fort Smith, AR)

      Mars Petcare is seeking a Welcome Center Associate to join our exciting pet food business at a Fort Smith, AR manufacturing plant. We focus on the unique needs of cats and dogs.       Key Responsibilities

      Maintain Appointment Schedule for all inbound orders

      Perform various WMS functions: shipment confirmations, Trailer dispatch, checking trailers into the system etc.

      Tender loads within in Transplace

      WMS use for printing BOLs and closing orders

      Constant communication with shipping teams to ensure efficient flow of work and high service levels to our customers

      Trailer Pool management

      Perform and send daily yard check report

      Respond to emails regarding any of our scrap load carriers

      Maintain shipping supplies within the welcome center

      Monitor the shipping window, office phone system and inbound/outbound gates

      Maintain incoming outgoing shipping log

      File all necessary shipping paperwork

      Support Manager and Leads on all shifts

      Job Specifications/Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications

      Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

      2 years experience in Shipping Office/yard Management

      Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

      Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated strength in conflict resolution.

      Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with associates within all levels of the organization.

      Excellent computer skills with experience in Warehouse Management systems and order processing systems

      Working understanding of our receiving process and manufacturing process

      Ability to work with little or no supervision.

      Ability to Work 12 hour shifts and cover overtime

      Preferred Qualifications

      3-4 years of shipping office experience

      Working knowledge of SAP and/or JDA

      Ability to tolerate and ambiguous environment

      Demonstrated ability to work with little to no guidance

      Education:

      High School Diploma or Equivalent

      18 years of age
