- Fabricate and fit parts together using blueprints.
- Conduct welding tasks in horizontal and vertical positions.
- Utilize overhead cranes to position materials and tack beams.
- Use hand and power tools to ensure parts fit together.
- Perform grinding, torch cutting, and finishing tasks.
- Certified welder with valid welding certification.
- Experience in MIG welding on structural steel.
- Leadership and supervision experience in a fabrication environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Weld Leader to join our team in Canton, working on the 1st shift. You will lead the weld fabrication department alongside the Fab Supervisor, performing MIG welding primarily on structural steel with occasional stainless steel tasks. This role involves fabricating and fitting parts from blueprints, using overhead cranes for material handling, and performing various finishing tasks.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional shifts on Fridays for 4-8 hours. The work environment is fast-paced and can appear unorganized due to high activity levels. Embrace teamwork with approximately 180 employees across manufacturing and office settings. The dress code requires steel toe boots and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
