- Weld components and interpret weld symbols and blueprints.
- Take ownership of project progress and provide reports.
- Manage inventory and project materials.
- Configure pipe systems and plan piping layouts.
- Ensure systems are safely turned off before working.
- Precisely cut, bend, and weld metals like carbon and stainless steel.
- Clean debris and hazardous materials from pipes.
- Install piping or tubing segments securely.
- Thread, weld, and solder piping together.
- Consult with job site supervisors for hole placements.
- Ensure correct pipe sizes, hangers, supports, and joints.
- Perform trial runs and tests on pipe systems.
- Repair and reinforce broken or inadequate systems.
- Mig welding
