MIG Welder - Hiring ASAP!

Job Description

The candidate will primarily assist in welding custom pieces based on blueprints. Training will be provided to operate fabrication equipment. The role includes setting up welders, fixtures, stops, and tables, and filling in at other positions as needed. The job involves using fixtures and precut parts to complete various projects, such as store fixtures, plant holders, spare parts for forklifts, ATVs, snowblowers, hydraulic and diesel tanks.

Responsibilities

• Fill in at other positions as needed.

• 6+ months of welding experience
• 6+ months of blueprint reading experience
• Experience in reading work orders
• Experience in welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing and assembly setting, with a variety of projects ranging from signs to gym equipment. The team-driven atmosphere requires flexibility and the ability to jump between teams as needed. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, a t-shirt with non-offensive writing, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. The shift is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FARGO, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
