      Job Purpose

      Competitive starting pay with a $1.00 increase after 90 days, quarterly production bonus $200-$500, and full benefits from day one!!!

      This position is responsible to operate various hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld, fabricate or join work pieces together. Work involves safe use of various hand and power tools common to the welding trade along with various welding methods such as MIG or Stick.

      Key Job Elements

      • Pass internal welding certification in conjunction with requirements under ISO, AAR, and other regulatory agencies;
      • Retrieve materials assembled and weld into a finished product;
      • Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements);
      • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.

      Education / Training

      • High School diploma or GED. Welding education or certifications preferred, or equivalent experience.

      Qualifications and Experience

      • Prior welding experience and/or certification needed;
      • Must have experience with Mig welding; and flux core welding;
      • Must pass welding test;
      • Must be able to stand in one place for an extended period of time;
      • Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively as well as frequent twisting and bending to meet fast paced work demands;
      • Work is performed inside/outside and applicant must be able to withstand all weather conditions;
      • Ability to communicate effectively;
      • Ability to use measuring devices accurately.
