      Job Title: Welder

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a job shop environment where all products are designed to order. The primary responsibility involves performing MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication, and building functions in the manufacture of various products according to product specifications.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform MIG welding.
      • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions to execute necessary tasks.
      • Apply knowledge of welding safety procedures and use PPEs provided.
      • Complete other duties as assigned.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in MIG welding.
      • Experience in blueprint reading.
      • Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
      • Competency in shop math.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Welding degree or equivalent experience required.

      Work Environment

      The role is based in a welding and fabrication shop featuring 20 welding bays, some of which are shared during the 1st shift. The work schedule starts at 6 am, with 10-minute breaks every 2 hours, and includes a lunch break at noon. Employees will need to stand for up to 2 hours at a time with breaks provided.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minnesota

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
