      Job Description

      Seeking an experienced metal fabricator/welder for large aerospace fabrication team in Santa Ana, CA. This is a day shift position (6am-2:30pm) with overtime available daily and on weekends. Pay will be based on experience but typically between $30-$45 an hour (option for higher pay if qualified).

      The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in welding and fabricating (ideally in Aerospace industry).

      Responsibilities

      • Proficient in various weld processes including MIG and TIG welding.
      • Experience welding various materials such as Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Titanium.
      • Read, understand, and work from engineering drawings.
      • Perform simple mathematics and be familiar with fractional and decimal measurements.
      • Effectively use and understand measuring devices.
      • Perform Quality Control on finished products to ensure they meet specified performance standards and tolerances.
      • Fabricate quality parts/structures within specified dimensional tolerances.
      • Work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and pivot between different projects as necessary.
      • Work well with others and be a team player.
      • Be self-motivated, self-starting, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
      • Maintain a flexible schedule and be willing to work overtime as necessary.

      Essential Skills

      • 5 years of metal fabrication experience.
      • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, specifically in the aerospace industry.
      • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and engineering plans.
      • Strong problem-solving skills.
      • Effective time management and organizational skills.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Trade school graduate ideal
      • Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
      • Knowledge of aerospace processes is preferred.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $62500.00 - $93600.00/yr.
