Direct and manage all aspects of the welding and manufacturing curriculum.

Provide high-quality, industry-relevant instruction aligned with TEKS and CTE program standards.

Prepare students for certification exams and workforce readiness.

Establish and maintain safety protocols in the welding lab and shop.

Collaborate with local industry partners and postsecondary institutions to support student opportunities.

Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic and technical skill growth.

Relevant industry experience and/or teaching certification in welding or manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of welding processes, safety standards, and equipment.

Job Description: Welding Program Instructor – Merkel High School
Position Summary:
Lead and oversee the Welding Program at Merkel High School. The instructor will design and implement engaging, hands-on instructional activities that equip students with the technical skills and industry knowledge necessary for successful job placement in the welding field or for continued education at the postsecondary level.Key Responsibilities:
