Job Description

- Participates in the design of basic standard wells, taking into account the purpose of the well and its location, among other aspects.
- Provides assistance in the design of different types of critical wells.
- Provides assistance in the preparation and delivery of training material, mainly to Technical Sales but not exclusively.
- Provides assistance in the certification processes and transversal monitoring of regional Technical Sales resources for String Design & Material Selection as well as Torque & Drag and Fatigue activities.
- Provides assistance in the performance of failure investigations.
- Provides assistance in the development of advanced Finite Elements Model to support the structural analyses of well integrity issues and challenges.
- Provides assistance in the development and maintenance of numerical and analytical tools for supporting string design, material selection and failure analyses among others.
- Provides assistance in the assessment of fatigue performance of threaded Proprietary Connections subjected to alternating loads.
- Collaborates on a variety of engineering, research, and development projects applicable to different sectors of the oil and gas and geothermal industries, aiming to contribute in the delivery of innovative technical solutions to oil & gas operators worldwide.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

WELL DESIGN SOLUTIONS ANALYST
LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN
Purpose
Provides assistance and cooperates in the delivery of specialized technical support in topics related to well design engineering, construction, material selection as well as general mechanical solutions. Collaborates in the engineering and design of standard well construction (excluding extreme high pressure, high temperature, deep water, sour gas wells environments).
