Pay Range

This range is provided by Aimbridge Hospitality. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — discuss with your recruiter for details.

Base pay range: $17.25/hr - $19.35/hr

Job Overview

A Safety & Security Guard is responsible for protecting hotel guests, employees, and property. They also ensure guests feel secure by maintaining visibility, and may be stationed at the base office for security checks and temperature screenings during COVID-19 protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred
• Safety and Security Training certificate (must meet state requirements)
• CPR, First Aid, Heimlich maneuver certified

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests and staff in a friendly, service-oriented manner
• Maintain consistent attendance per Aimbridge Hospitality standards
• Present a professional appearance, wearing proper uniform and name tag
• Follow all safety and operational regulations
• Answer calls and radio communications promptly, maintaining proper etiquette
• Monitor the lobby, front desk, and security cameras
• Keep a detailed activity log and maintain confidentiality
• Conduct security rounds, check for hazards, and secure premises
• Assist guests with their rooms and during emergencies
• Investigate incidents and collaborate with authorities as needed
• Provide escorts and assist with guest and staff safety issues
• Respond to alarms and challenge suspicious persons
• Handle lost and found items, and assist with special functions
