Job Description

- Liaise with specialists and colleagues to share best practices and identify improvements and efficiencies
- Provide timely feedback and contribute to the prioritization and coordination of activities through regular discussions with various stakeholders
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators are met and lead regular reviews of performance and procedures for continuous improvement
- Proficiently use breeding-related software for planning and managing the breeding program
- Act as a trainer and supervisor for technicians and seasonal workers, ensuring work is carried out competently and in line with HSE guidelines
- Adhere to health and safety policies and practices, including completing required training courses
- Undertake and support ongoing activities within the Nurseries and Purity Team as required
- A Degree or HND in Agricultural or Biological science or relevant experience in a plant breeding environment is essential
- Experience of working with agricultural drilling and harvest machinery
- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines under pressure
- Confidence in communicating with people at different levels in the company and externally
- Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
- Full UK driving licence

Job Description
Are you passionate about agriculture and innovation? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Wheat F1 Hybrid Production Coordinator, based at our Whittlesford breeding research station, near Cambridge. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating end-to-end activities associated with the production of wheat F1 hybrid or hybrid parental line seed.
