Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, methodical minded person to join our Administration Team in the Dorset Wheelchair Service.
You will work as part of an effective and responsive administration team supporting the clinical staff in their provision of NHS wheelchairs and associated equipment to clients.
You will work within the team to support the provision of a reliable, flexible, high quality and proactive client orientated service.
Working for the Dorset Wheelchair Service you will be part of a effective, enthusiastic, supportive team for the provision of wheelchairs to the clients of Dorset. Our organisation works hard to provide a service we are proud of that meets the needs of the clients and we work toward the standards requested by NHS England.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

Main duties of the job
You will work in a small, friendly admin team, along with other members of our service to provide equipment for a wide community based range of clients with wheelchair needs. Making appointments and other essential tasks that are needed so that we are able to meet the needs of the clients.
Please see the job description and person specifications for a more detailed account of your main duties in supporting our teams to supply an efficient service to the clients of Dorset with the provision of equipment and appointments they need. You will be based at the Acorn Building at St Leonards Hospital but there will be a need to travel within the whole of Dorset to our other site.
