- Analyze market, order, sales, inventory, and margin metrics to consolidate into weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and/ or dashboards focusing on key performance indicators around productivity, risk, and opportunity.
- Intentionally create reports and data visualizations that help craft the story you are trying to tell.
- Attend relevant meetings to support collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams.
- Review existing processes to identify potential process improvements through analyzing and weighing the pros/ cons of existing, standard procedures.
- Ability to problem solve when faced with complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Additional Microsoft Office Applications: PowerPoint, Word, Teams
- Statistics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in the retail field is preferred
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, fashion merchandising, statistics, math, economics, or related analytical discipline preferred.
- Retail Math background is not required but recommended to successfully gauge, report, and analyze the Wholesale Business.
- Microsoft Access experience is a plus
- SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide experience is a plus

Job Description
The Wholesale Business Analyst Intern is responsible for the forecast, analysis, management, and communication of a regular cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly) of sales and inventory reports to provide leadership with key data points to effectively navigate their day-to-day business needs, develop strategies, advance efficiency, and promote data-based decision making.
This role will be a valuable asset to the Skechers Domestic Sales & Marketing team to drive business, provide critical analysis and technical expertise, decrease risk, and enhance collaboration with cross-functional partners (Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, etc.) to ensure key strategies are executed or provide recommendations when expectations are falling short of the standard. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, action-oriented, curious, and has a passion for learning.
