      The Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) Policy Team oversees and provides independent review and challenge to Wholesale Credit Risk policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. Reporting to the team lead, you will help to establish escalation and review protocols and set governance for policy initiation, review, and modification. This will include partnering closely with wholesale credit risk lines of businesses (LOBs) including Commercial Banking, Asset & Wealth Management, etc. and functional areas supporting these LOBs to lead and deliver transformational initiatives and respond to evolving regulatory requirements.

      You will focus on the strategic execution of a framework transformation that will garner high exposure to senior leadership and a holistic understanding of the Wholesale Credit Risk organization.

      Job responsibilities

      • Manage a portfolio of credit risk documents that includes working with document owners to edit, solicit and incorporate feedback, obtain document owner approvals and publish to firmwide policy portal
      • Manage the WCR document governance process and maintaining strong controls by coordinating and organizing the Policy Committee meetings; this includes challenging content, maintaining meeting minutes, monitoring quorum and ensuring follow up items are addressed
      • Guiding document owners and credit corporate functions through the governance process and provide training, if necessary
      • Lead cross-line of business and regional engagement for framework transformation through multiple platforms (e.g. Forums, working group sessions, and deep dives)
      • Lead meetings with functional support groups (Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal) to participate in initiatives and align on the transformation of risk policy priorities
      • Review and present reporting related to progress, monitor due and past due items and highlight obstacles and challenges while formulating solutions
      • Prepare senior management decks and provide updates on deliverables and team projects. At times may support regulatory exam activities in partnership with the broader WCR teams

      Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

      • 7+ years of experience and working knowledge of Credit Risk concepts
      • Wholesale credit or Commercial risk, audit, control or policy or governance experience (at least 4 years strongly preferred)
      • Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications
      • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines and a constantly changing environment
      • High degree of initiative, self-direction, ability to work well under pressure and learn quickly
      • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to take on responsibilities that may fall outside your immediate area of expertise
      • Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups and regions and appreciates the value of working in partnership with others to influence change and accomplish individual and team goals
