      eero is looking for a highly proficient, lead plus hands-on WiFi Test Engineer to own our testing efforts and keep our platform running smoothly. You will help the existing WiFi test team build test cases, design networks to better our customer experience, validate software releases, and ensure that end users have a great connectivity experience. You'll work closely with development teams, to help discover and debug issues.

      Key job responsibilities
      Develop test plans for eero's whole home WiFi products

      Define, implement WiFi test cases and support automation

      Design network for wireless, network systems

      Develop ad hoc tests to support engineering debug
      Drive decisions about testing improvements

      Drive projects from start to finish and guide team-members

      Execute WiFi test plans

      Report test results and plan status

      Review specs for DFS, Adaptivity compliance

      Work with vendors to validate test scripts for compliance

      Validate DFS, Adaptivity regulatory compliance tests

      Write detailed bug reports for engineering team

      Support distributed development and QA teams

      We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

      San Francisco, CA, USA- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
      - Experience in manual testing
      - Experience in automation testing
      - Knowledge of 802.11, Ethernet, Networking is a must- Knowledge of WiFi protocols is a must
      - Experience with RF equipment and tools
      - Experience with Signal generator/Analyzer
      - Understanding of 802.11 standards, Compliance requirement for FCC/ETSI
      - Having led projects end-to-end from bring-up to production
      - Cross-functional communication skills
      - Proficient Python and Linux shell scripting skills
      - Ability to work independently and within a testing team
      - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
