  I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

  The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: cutting the tenders along the keel bone to prepare the tenders for removal from the breast frame.

  The Tender Scorer uses a knife to cut the tenders along the keel bone. Scorer must use both hands to push out tenders when required. Visually inspect meat for proper cut or bones. Tender Scorer is required to score approximately 48 tender a minute. Must be able to work in damp/cool conditions. All other duties as assigned by management and group leaders.
  

  II. MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
  

  Must be able to use a knife to make a cut along the keel bone. Must use both hands to push out tenders when required. (50+ % of time) Must be able to perform cutting motions repetitively Must be able to stand the duration of shift approximately an average of 8 hours with 2 30 minute breaks. Bending, twisting and turning body from side to side to see and keep up with product. Must have good hand/eye coordination to safely make required cuts on product. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from their work stations.

  III. TYPES OF EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO OPERATE FOR THE POSITION
  

  Water proof boots as required. Must wear PPE, cut resistant glove, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and beard guard.

  IV. MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, DIPLOMA OR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB FUNCTIONS.
  

  Must have good work and attendance record. On the job training is provided
