      Position Overview

      Job Description

      Essential Job Functions:

      1. Responsible for office clerical tasks related to Will Call Operations

      2. Record Keeping

      3. Driving/ Operating Electric Powered Pallet Jack

      4. Use of Voice Recognition System to select product

      5. Housekeeping/ Cleaning

      1. Responsible for office clerical tasks related to Will Call Operations

      • Provide a high level of service towards customer relations

      • Work with sales and buyers as needed for customer order fulfillment

      • Handle customer problems or any other situations that may occur in a professional and courteous manner.

      • Be aware of product availability, seasonal items, and knowledge of product.

      • Notify supervisor of any outstanding or reoccurring issues with customer needs

      Physical Requirements

      Standing and sitting for long periods of time

      Visual: looking at computer monitor

      Hearing /Speech: Communication with customers and staff

      2. Record Keeping

      • Take customer orders, input them, print invoices, and collect payment

      • Use wireless Voice Recognition System.

      • Obtain Ship Labels from Will Call office.

      • All other duties as assigned.

      Physical Requirements

      Standing: Communicating with Voice System.

      Grasping/gripping: Hold Ship Pallet Labels, remove label backing and place on front of finished Ship Pallet.

      Hearing/Speech: Understand commands from Voice System and communicate back replies.

      3. Driving/Operating Electric Powered Pallet Jack

      • Drive to the stack of pallets and through aisles with pallets for Production Selection.

      • Must operate rapidly and cautiously to avoid pedestrians, other pallet jacks, and forklifts.

      • Change equipment battery as needed.

      • At the end of the shift, park equipment in designated area.

      • All other duties as assigned.

      Physical Requirements

      Standing: on the pallet jack operator platform

      Climbing: up and down from platform 8in. tall up to thousands of times per day

      Grasping/gripping: holding on to pallet jack while moving, push buttons on pallet jack controls, remove self adhesive labels and apply

      4. Use of Voice Recognition System to select product

      • Lifts product from the pick slots and places them on the pallets turning case labels to outside.

      • Replies correct case weight and case count to Voice System.

      • Operates equipment from to slot to slot following commands from Voice System.

      • Correct stacked pallet if needed.

      • Empty pallets in front of rack are picked up and moved to holding area.

      • Transports finished pallet to dock staging area

      • Stretch wraps pallets for customer pickup

      • Loads product for customer pickup.

      • All other duties as assigned.

      Physical Requirements

      Lifting: up to 100lbs boxes all levels up to frequently

      Frequency: 10 - 20 lifts in 5 minutes

      Carrying: from 2ft – 10ft from rack to pallet jack up to 100lbs

      Walking: from pallet jacks to pick slots.

      Stooping: to retrieve products from back lower level of pallet.

      Reaching: to retrieve boxes on top rack and back of pallet

      Grasping/gripping: controls, labels and boxes

      5. Housekeeping/Cleaning

      • Pick up paper, trash and debris as needed. .

      • Pickup/move damage cases as needed.

      • Report leakage to supervisor.

      • Tape damaged cases as needed.

      • Moving empty pallets as needed.

      • All other duties as assigned.

      Physical Requirements

      Lifting: cases and pallets up to 100lbs occasionally

      Carrying: up to 100lbs no more than 10ft

      Stooping: to pick up trash and paper from floor

      Reaching: all levels as needed

      General Physical Requirements:

      Climbing: possibly up to 2 flights of stairs occasionally.

      Vision: seeing colors, equipment, judging distances, computer screens and/or paperwork.

      Hearing: equipment movement and horns, verbal instructions, alarms and intercom system.

      Environmental Exposures

      Ability to work in refrigerated warehouse environments, exposure to varying temperature levels, exposure to dust.
