A DAY IN THE LIFE

Idaho Falls and the surrounding area offers great opportunities for all kinds of outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. Idaho Falls is about 15 minutes north of Meadow Creek site location and offers everything a large city can provide as its one of the more populated cities in Idaho. The team here is tenured and eager to encourage your training, development, and growth within Vestas Service!

In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. You will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day with "built-in" overtime. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day.

✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset
✓ Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
✓ You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
✓ You will bring at least a year of wind experience or 2 or more years of experience in an applicable background, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical troubleshooting, or agricultural maintenance experience; rotational mechanics preferred
