Team member will work with a team to upgrade Cisco UCS manager / CIMC firmware and Windows OS, Linux OS.The team member will also work closely with our Fleet team to coordinate Cisco UCS Manager and CIMC firmware upgrades and deployments by leveraging our Infrastructure Pipeline.The candidate will perform pre and post configuration fleet tasks leveraging ansible and an infrastructure pipeline.They need to migrate FSMO roles, be comfortable troubleshooting DNS, TCP/IP, NTP related issues.They need to be familiar with Redhat KVM and VMware ESX. DNS Masq, bash shell scripting. This team member will also assist with new partner site enablement - VMware ESXi Engineer / KVM-HypervisorWorking closely with the FLEET team is critical for the candidate to successfully integrate into the team. Its also imperative for knowledge transfer.. Therefore, the candidate needs to be able to come into the San Jose lab buildings at least two to four times per month.
