What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage, install, upgrade, patch, and configure Windows 2016, 2019, and 2021 systems
- Install and configure standard applications to meet VA requirements
- Monitor systems daily to limit downtime and troubleshoot issues as they occur
- Apply system patches monthly and perform maintenance tasks as needed
- Document all Windows Administration activities in the Weekly Progress Report

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 15 years of experience in IT, with a substitution of 8 years of relevant experience for education
- Five (5) years of Microsoft server administration experience, with three years in a healthcare setting
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in lifecycle maintenance and support of clinical IT systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- ITILv3 certification is highly desired
- Working knowledge of ITIL's Incident, Service, and Change management methodologies
- Active VA Public Trust clearance
- Experience using Configuration and Change Management processes
- Familiarity with the Veterans Administration or a branch of the government
