- Acts as a primary point of contact and support channel for user requests and issues.
- Ensures compliance with government regulations such NIST Special Publication 800-53.
- Regularly performs security patching, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and generation of compliance artifacts.
- Conducts day-to-day support activities to include data transfers, account management, software installs, and issue remediation.
- Documents work, issues, and status’ in a JIRA ticketing system.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret security clearance to be considered and sustained ability to be cleared to special access programs.
- DoD 8570 IAT level II or higher certification such as CompTIA Security+.
- Extensive troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining Windows-based operating systems.
- Experience with account and group management in an Active Directory environment.
- Experience with Group Policies and Domain Name Services.
- Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and validating with DISA’s SCAP tool.
- Experience creating and managing Samba File shares and assigning permissions.
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience or relevant industry-standard certifications and experience.
- Active Top Security clearance is highly preferred.
- Experience with Linux-based operating systems.
- Experience with SharePoint, SQL, or Exchange.
- Experience with Cisco solutions (Networking, VTCs, Jabber, VOIP, etc).
- Familiarity with a host-based security solution (such as Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator)
Leidos is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator with an active DoD secret clearance to join our team to support various classified environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of classified environments, as well as ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
This role includes a combination of duties to protect information, and maintain security controls, for an entire system, site, or program to reduce risk.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
