Job Description
- Req#: R-11112
- 2 years’ experience in retail management and customer service
- A dynamic and positive personality with strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where priorities change
- Ability to make complex decisions with integrity that supports company guidelines
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Participate in community-driven initiatives and festivals
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Smart Serve Certification is required.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.
- Setting strategies, sales goals, and targets for the store and creating a communication plan to present to the store team
- Ensuring store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards
- Ability to make schedules for staff and work on creating a sound work environment
- Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
- Accountable for all aspects of in store inventory
- Accountability for store recruitment and building a high-performance team in the store.
- Develop merchants at all levels through coaching, training and one on one discussions
- May have the opportunity to manage multiple stores
