      SUMMARY

      Join our dynamic team of highly skilled Machinists with a combined experience of over 300 years of machining who will mentor you to manufacture cutting edge components with the latest tools available in the industry. Learn to manufacture complex geometry rocket engine components made from high temp alloys and be trained in sophisticated machining processes as well as cutting edge machinery.

      We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire EDM Machinist to operate and maintain wire EDM and Sinker machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with setup, edits of programs, and quality inspection of EDM-machined parts, with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.

      The location for this role is at our Manufacturing site in Briggs, TX, 25 minutes north of Cedar Park.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Set up and operate wire EDM Wire and Sinker machines (Mitsubishi, ONA, Sodick, etc.) to cut metal components to tight tolerances
      • Interpret and work from blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering plans.
      • Select appropriate tooling, wire, and machine settings for various materials and part designs.
      • Monitor machining operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
      • Perform routine machine maintenance
      • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
      • Document work performed and maintain accurate job records.
      • Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to resolve part issues.
      • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Required

      • 7+ years of experience setting up and operating Wire and Sinker EDM machines
      • Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
      • Passion to build Spacecraft and Rocket components.
      • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
      • Able to perform physically demanding work—standing, bending, lifting 25 lbs. regularly
      • Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player
      • Good communication skills, written and verbal
      • Good math skills
      • Good computer skills
