  The Satellite Connectivity Group seeks a Wireless Communication Software Engineer with a strong background in Digital Signal Processing, familiarity with protocols such as 5G NR, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, and excellent software engineering skills.

  Description

  We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with experience in developing and launching wireless products. The role requires a background in DSP and all layers of wireless communication stacks (PHY, MAC, etc.), as well as algorithm development skills. You will collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-performance, industry-leading wireless systems.

  Minimum Qualifications

  • Background in DSP and wireless communication systems, including protocols like CDMA, OFDM, and experience with physical layer algorithms, MAC processing, and Software-Defined Radio, complemented by hands-on lab work.
  • Strong C++ and Python programming skills, capable of producing high-quality, production-ready software for a global system.
  • Analytical skills for performance measurement and debugging across system and protocol layers.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
  • GPU programming experience.
  • Knowledge of cryptography and channel coding.
  • Experience profiling and developing high-performance code.
  • Experience with network emulators and wireless test equipment.
  • Proficiency in Golang.

  Pay & Benefits

  Apple offers a total compensation package with a base pay range of $175,800 to $312,200, depending on skills and experience.
