!*!•Create 3D Designs for low Voltage/High Voltage Wiring Harnesses and Power and ground distribution considering weight, safety, space, Cost, DFM, Assembly, quality and EMC requirements
•Create 2D Drawings for Low Voltage/High Voltage Wiring Harness
•Detecting/Determining of suitable wiring materials, shielding, protections based on surrounding parts/geometry
•Develop effective routing paths of 3D Model with the help of retainers, channels, grommets, etc..
•Design brackets, trays, enclosures, grommets and other components to support wiring harness design and electrical modules packaging
•Design innovative and robust solutions that meet Mercedes Benz Standards
•Collaborations with other functions groups and represent the EDS Department within the project team, reporting information, concern, and milestones achievements from the department to the project and vice versa
•Support all phases of vehicle build from Concept to Production
•Experience in reading electrical schematics
•Support the design review with customers, manufacturing, supplier and engineering areas
•Participations and collaboration with wider engineering team
!*!•Experienced in at least one of the industry wide 3D CAD Design packages with wire harness design routing add-ons (Unigraphics NX, CATIA, etc.)
•Proficiency in NX – Electrical Workbenches, Part and Assembly Design
•Experience within the automotive industry or similar domain experience
•Good Understanding of automotive electrical packaging concept and Electrical/mechanical interfaces
•Automotive market trend knowledge
Good Understanding of product development cycle
