      Job Summary:

      As a Wiring Technician, you will wire sub-pans, door devices, and other pertinent power equipment with minimal supervision according to Caterpillar Switchgear Americas (CSA) standards and drawings.

      What you will do:

      • Wire and route harness's neatly with or without the use of wire loom, according to CSA standards

      • Understand the difference between AC and DC voltages and able to accurately and timely perform all wiring duties on sub panels, door devices and enclosures

      • Perform all other duties accurately and meet scheduled deadlines

      • Perform any other duties assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor and Section Manager

      • Understand the usage of hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. according to CSA Procedures Manual.

      What you will have:

      • High School diploma or GED

      • At least 3 years of experience working in the electrical field

      • Ability to work well in a team environment

      Top candidates will have:

      • Ability to understand, assemble and/or wire to diagrams / schematics with precise detail

      Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

      • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods

      • Ability to perform repetitive operations

      • Ability to lift to 35 lbs.

      Shift

      • Monday – Thursday; 5AM – 3:30PM – Additional overtime as needed
