2025 Summer Internship Program
Location:
This role is scheduled to be 100% remote. While remote, finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.
Department Description:
Kaiser Permanente’s vision is to be the national leader in supporting and improving social, physical and mental health for and with women and children, and the best and safest place to have a baby and grow a family.
Working collaboratively with partners across the Health Plan, Hospitals, and Permanente Medical Groups, the National Women's & Children's Health team collects, tests and drives adoption of best practices from across the continuum of care.
Work spans reproductive health and contraceptive care, pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum, and pediatric care, to improve quality, safety, and the care experience for women, birthing people, newborns, children, and families.
Intern Project(s):
Work with us to promote and champion our Breastfeeding & Bonding program and/or other potential Women's & Children's Health equity initiatives. This may include updating educational materials (job aids, web-based training courses). Primary focus can include designing and creating communications plans (could include marketing assets such as HTML email templates, flyers, videos) or other tools, as well as an overarching plan to engage employees with efforts to increase knowledge and awareness of essential educational resources.
