CaroMont Health is hiring a Women's Imaging Navigator to work Full-time shifts within our Mammography-Imaging Services team at the CaroMont Health Medical Center in Gastonia, NC!

Schedule: Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Women's Imaging Navigator Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provides patient-centered navigation services and care coordination across all areas of Women's Imaging Breast services as well as provides contact and care services for surgeons, primary care, oncology referrals etc.
• Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of Imaging navigation services.
• Reports data and implements quality improvement initiatives.
• Acts as a liaison between healthcare providers/staff /patients and patient families.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Radiology or related healthcare field from a recognized college or university with certification in Mammography and at least 2 years experience in imaging or imaging navigation OR
• BSN with current RN license to practice in the state of NC with at least 2 years RN patient navigation experience.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Must have strong organization skills with initiative, creativity, public speaking skills.
• Requires ability to work in a self-directed environment with the ability to network, organize and coordinate a patient care team.
• Current BLS certification required.
