Job Description
- Req#: R_775109
- Work closely with the Womenswear Design Director and the other members of design teams on creating and developing new collections, garments, concepts from brainstorming the ideas to the final product;
- Create sketches and technical files for garments;
- Participate in fittings;
- Support the team with a strong and personal research;
- Support in new projects, collaborations and launches;
- Updating physical design boards (style, fabric, color, research) through close collaboration with the team and ensuring boards are photographed, copied, distributed, and archived when requested;
- Assist with the sewing up of trials and new development samples;
- Working on colorway options, print placements, artworks for fabric developments and embellishments using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator;
- Amending and updating sketches and fitting imagery using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator when needed;
- Work with all members of the Design Studio on a variety of tasks. Tasks undertaken will involve; mood boards, color boards, color cards, research, organizing the studio space and sourcing art supplies.
- BA Design degree;
- Interest in Fashion/Luxury design;
- Computer skills: Photoshop and Illustrator;
- Teamwork and relationship skills;
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Hand drawing skills
- Good level of English
