National Sex Offender Registry screen
T each beginner to intermediate lessons to youth ages 7-12 .
Teach group and private lessons, classes, day camps, and special events
Inform, provide, and enforce all safety rules and policies, including wearing helmets, using PARK SMART, etc.
Proactively engage with all participants at all times
Attend coaching clinics, additional training , and possibly lead clinics in your area of expertise
Set a positive example and be a role model
Help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all Woodward Park City sports facilities
Other Duties as Assigned.
Understanding of bike and action sport tricks, progressions, and terminology
Experience working with children, teens, and adults
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
First Aid/CPR Certification preferred
Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, work as part of a team, and lead teams in achieving shared goals.
Seasonal employment- June through late August- Variable hours
Must successfully pass a background screening to ensure the suitability of contact with minor children and the public by federal, state, and local jurisdictions
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
Camp Attendance Requirements: Summer Camp Season (June 2nd - August 10th)
Preferred minimum 4-week commitment within the Summer camp season
Provide work-related references upon request

The Summer Camp Coach position is integral to the camper's experience, providing an unmatched dynamic platform. You will execute and support all aspects of the program, including the overall curriculum and appropriate use of facilities. The goal is to ensure high training and progression, ensuring campers are engaged and participating responsibly . Action Sports c oaches should have basic expertise in one or more of the following sports to qualify for this position:
