What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, process, and resolve customer and health care provider inquiries about benefits, insurance eligibility, and payments
- Relay detailed information to customers and clients
- Document details of each interaction in the tracking system for organized records
- Offer timely solutions through inbound and outbound conversations
- Educate customers and team members on relevant policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of customer service experience
- Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- Basic math skills for payment support
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in medical claims reimbursements or medical billing
- Familiarity with health insurance industry terminology
- Knowledge of health care policies and procedures
- Demonstrated customer service techniques
