      The Workday Payroll Senior Principal Consultant (Continuous Value Services) position is best suited for expert problem solvers full of patience and tenacity who are eager to work with a variety of customers and dive headfirst into post-production support with Workday Payroll. This role demands a focus on customer satisfaction while working on competing priorities. You must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills who is able to manage both your time and the customers’ expectations. Strong initiative and time management skills are paramount to success is this role.

      Responsibilities:

      • Execute the day-to-day activities of Workday Payroll project support for a variety of customer contracts including staff augmentation, ad-hoc support, and implementation
      • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices
      • Conduct sessions with customers to analyze business requirements and provide solutions to complex business problems
      • Identify strategies, risks, and options for recommending approaches towards meeting requirements for post-production customers
      • Become a Workday Payroll expert with deep knowledge of core functionality, touch points with HCM, Compensation, Time & Absence, Benefits, Finance, and future product direction
      • Mentor other consultants; actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice
      • Contribute to internal initiatives related to growing and enhancing the Continuous Value Services practice.

      Skills & Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
      • 2+ years Workday experience supporting customers in an implementation or postproduction support capacity
      • Active Workday certifications in Payroll highly desired
      • Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet customer requirements
      • Subject matter expert in Payroll with the ability to demonstrate functional experience Payroll and/or Time & Attendance.
      • CPP or FPC preferred
      • Passion for exceptional customer service
      • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations
      • Be a problem solver! Must be able to find solutions to difficult problems that arise in Workday with ample research skills.
      • Ability to manage both your time and the client’s needs while working on competing priorities with a high focus on customer service
      • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
      • Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site if needed
