      About the Opportunity

      The System Payroll Department has an immediate opening for a Technical Analyst, reporting to Vice President.

      This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of Workday payroll and the ability to develop technological solutions that align with organizational needs.

      What You Will Do:

      • Collaborates cross-functionally to develop and deliver effective solutions for payroll ensuring alignment with business requirements and strategic priorities.

      • Manages a range of projects including identifying and providing requirements for system enhancements, releases, and maintenance of applications.

      • Partners closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements and customizations, understanding business objectives and ensuring that solutions meet their needs.

      • Conducts testing of new modules and functionalities, including rollouts, and develops validation plans to ensure configurations meet business requirements.

      • Regularly reviews business processes and procedures within payroll and recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

      • Remains current with changes to system functionality and feature releases, applying new capabilities as appropriate to optimize payroll processes.

      • Serves as the testing lead for Workday releases that impact the payroll (including weekly Workday service releases and semi-annual Workday feature releases)

      • Proactively recommends process improvements to rethink existing configurations and creatively find solutions to unique problems - including finding ways to automate manual work

      • Analyzes incident data to identify impacts and make recommendations on resolution and root cause analysis

      • Actively participates in daily huddles / stand-ups

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

      • 3- 5 years (Intermediate) or 6+ (Senior) years of experience in payroll technology or related field required.

      • Strong understanding of Workday Payroll in required.

      • Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills required.

      • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to translate business needs into system requirements required

      • Familiarity with internal controls (SOX) is required.

      • The hiring range of the Intermediate position is $74,300 – $102,000 annually.

      • The hiring range of the Senior position is $91,800 - $126,000 annually.

      • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
