What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Workers’ Compensation Program across multiple states
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to identify preventative opportunities
- Assess new claims and engage in serious or questionable cases promptly
- Maintain communication with managers and employees to ensure timely return to work
- Coordinate with medical professionals and claim administrators in managing the Transitional Duty Program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in handling workers’ compensation claims or a Master’s degree with 1-3 years of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn specialized programs
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse engagement
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with OSHA regulations
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and handle conflicts effectively
- Familiarity with claims adjusters and nurse case managers
