      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review claim notices, lawsuits, contracts, and policies to verify coverage and compensability
      - Initiate timely contact with customers and thoroughly explain the claims process
      - Document claims activities and maintain accurate and timely diaries on all files
      - Calculate benefits due and pay accordingly in compliance with state jurisdictional statutes
      - Collaborate with defense counsel on action plans and litigation strategy to manage expenses

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
      - Minimum of eight years of workers’ compensation claims adjusting experience or related experience
      - Attainment of all applicable state licenses within six months of hire
      - Superior knowledge of best claims practices and advanced knowledge of the claims function
      - Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

      - Relevant insurance designations
      - Experience with complex liability claims and litigation
      - Strong customer service skills and superior investigative abilities
      - Ability to adhere to high standards of professional conduct and ethics
