Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Workforce Transformation and Education Team to deliver on the ICB workforce commitment 'to work together to create meaningful work opportunities and employment for people in Northeast London - now and in the future.' The role will involve developing programmes of work, bidding for funding opportunities, providing high level project management, and reporting on progress to internal and external partners. Key to delivery will be engaging and collaborating with partners to ensure we can attract staff and retain staff.
Main duties of the job
The Workforce Transformation Manager is responsible for managing complex projects under a programme of work with a system wide (Primary Care, Secondary Care & Social Care) recruitment and retention focus. The projects will include coordinating and planning national, or London programmes linked to strategies such as the NHS Long Term Plan, People Promise and Skills for Care workforce strategy. It will also include working with local partners across North East London to identify localised or sector specific challenges and putting interventions in place or making recommendations to relevant groups. Bringing a broad knowledge of project management, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Retention and wellbeing, Leadership, the Workforce Transformation manager will play a pivotal role in the large-scale transformation which is being undertaken within North East London to enable health and care to be delivered to patients. The post holder will lead and manage programmes, bringing partners together from multiple organisations that deliver programmes across the Integrated Care System. In addition, you will work with partner organisations to implement new/innovative models of working to meet current and future business needs. The post holder will be expected to build and maintain relationships with a range of partners across NEL.
