      Job Description

      Statkraft’s ambition is to grow in the wind, solar and hydro generation business throughout Continental Europe. You will work within Statkraft’s Continental Commercial Analysis team at the heart of this debate, following closely (new) long-term developments. This department holds the responsibility for supporting business development and portfolio management of all Continental European assets, including proactively ensuring value optimisation and strategical guidance on long term asset behaviour. We cooperate closely with Statkraft’s M&A, project development and trading teams as well as various experts.

      Your role:

      • Supporting the team in research and analysis related to long term revenue forecasting in various european electricity markets, e.g. flexibility market and their corresponding fundamental revenue drivers
      • Further develop our quantitative revenue model toolbox (excel & python based) for different asset classes for revenue projections
      • Asist the team with day-to-day activities such as research, reporting, and data analysis
      • Improve, structure and document processes

      Qualifications

      • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or preferably Master’s degree in economics, engineering or science
      • Passion and interest to work in the energy market for a leading company in renewable energy
      • Strong analytical and commercial mind-set combined with Python expertise
      • Proactive, communicative and independent way of working
      • Fluency in English (written and oral)

      The working time can be organized flexibly within the week (on an hourly basis) up to 20 hours per week. Please note that office presence 2x week is compulsory.

      Expected start date: As soon as possible.

      Please be informed that we are looking for applicants who are enrolled at a university during the whole engagement period. Applications can be sent either in English or in German. Please be aware that office presence is required part of the time.
