      RESPONSIBILITIES

      Our team provides project support for investment project of Business Units worldwide. This includes the estimating of investment cost, the cost tracking during the project execution as well as the project scheduling. In the area of cost estimation, we are looking for a working student for up to 20 hours per week for the following tasks (Working from home / mobile working possible with partial presence on site in Ludwigshafen):

      • As a working student you will be responsible for the evaluation and analysis of project data, with focus on battery projects.
      • You will support and prepare improved cost basis elements for future cost estimates (e.g. battery business) and contribute to the establishment of a unit price databases (e.g., machinery and equipment, process control technology, construction)
      • Additionally, you will support our cost engineers with current project information, providing the basis for benchmarks and future investment decisions.
      • Based on completed projects, you will evaluate the spent internal and external engineering hours of various projects in different project phases.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • studies in engineering or similar studies, ideally with a completed Bachelor degree
      • proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, knowledge of "Power BI" is a plus
      • excellent German as well as English language and communication skills (spoken and written)
      • independent, target-oriented, and structured working style with a positive attitude towards teamwork
