- You will develop a market intelligence concept for efficient collection, processing and distribution of market intelligence information on biobased and biomass balanced products within BASF’s Sustainability community.
- Furthermore, you will elaborate the collected data in the form of a dashboard (e.g. Power BI) and/or visual form.
- With the support of the communication team, you will analyze and develop best practices for the successful marketing of sustainable products.
- You will prepare process descriptions (incl. flow charts) to help structure the activities around Mass Balance certification and sustainable feedstock allocation.
- You will take an active role in the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for sustainable feedstocks.
- You will support building & steering the global Mass Balance communities (e.g. by preparing and guiding respective team meetings).
- ongoing studies in the field of business informatics, international business, engineering or science
- experience in data visualization (e.g. Power BI)
- good understanding of numbers and analytical skills
- experienced handling of standard IT applications (Powerpoint, Excel, Teams)
- excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
- enjoying achieving success and developing together as a team

In our newly established unit, we are setting the pace for BASF's transformation towards climate neutrality and a circular economy. The senior project "Net Zero Accelerator" focuses on implementing and accelerating global projects relating to renewable energies, alternative raw materials and CO2 reduction technologies. In close collaboration with our business units, we are creating a powerful implementation organization in which we can set priorities better and move things forward even faster and more effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Working Student Sustainability in the Renewable Carbon Team, you will contribute to our mission: "Bring renewable carbon into BASF at large scale to offer products with strongly reduced product carbon footprint to our customers".
