      Job Responsibilities:

      Workup Coordination:
      - Assess donor needs, concerns, and the impact donation may have on the donor and their family.
      - Schedule and conduct donor information sessions.
      - Manage the donor's physical exam and medical clearance process.
      - Complete all tasks required for donation, including managing blood sample and autologous blood collections.
      - Communicate case progress with the Case Manager and donor, and complete required documentation.

      Protocol Adherence:
      - Follow Investigational New Drug (IND) or research protocol as directed by the employer.
      - Provide training to third party providers performing protocol activities.

      Continuous Process Improvement:
      - Implement strategies and systems to achieve Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and organizational goals.

      Continuing Education:
      - Attend sponsored meetings and trainings to maintain operational and industry knowledge.
      - Stay updated with updated policies and procedures.

      Other Duties:
      - Perform all duties in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulations.
      - Deliver optimal donor experience and meet transplant center and patient expectations.
      - Participate in shared team responsibilities and staff backup.
      - Participate in NMDP project teams as needed.

      Job Requirements:

      - Knowledge of medical terminology, case-note documentation, and medical histories.
      - Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
      - Intermediate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office software.
      - Accurate and efficient completion of sensitive data forms.
      - Well-developed interpersonal skills and advanced communication skills.
      - Strong customer service skills and ability to connect with people who are experiencing major life decisions.

      Additional Information:

      - Bilingual skills required, including fluency in an alternate language and understanding of various secondary language cultures.
      - Availability for occasional overnight travel and flexibility to work outside of core business hours is necessary.
