      Worship Coordinator – Vina

      Vineyard Columbus | Columbus, OH – Part-Time 15 Hours

      The Vina Worship Coordinator serves at weekend services and all campus specific special services, overseeing and administrating Vina Westerville worship ministry and volunteer teams. This person will oversee particular parts of worship related responsibilities including but not limited to: worship at staff prayer, scheduling worship for staff prayer, leading various worship trainings, overseeing other aspects of central worship.

      Aside from regular weekend services at our six campuses across Central Ohio, our Cooper Road Campus is also home to our Vineyard Community Center that offers an Early Childhood Center, After-School and Summer Programs, Middle and High School Life Readiness, Sports and Exercise Programs, free Health Clinics, Immigration Counseling Services, ESL classes and more.

      What kind of person are we looking for?

      The Vina Worship Coordinator loves lead ing worship at weekend services and raising up a volunteer team . They embody Vineyard Columbus’ vision and values, with the ability to understand and translate Vineyard Columbus’ ministry strategy and approach into local campus worship. They can wear many hats including recruiting an d envisioning volunteers, planning and scheduling sets, and setting up for Sunday morning worship.

      The ideal candidate is bilingual, passionate about growing in their worship and leadership skills and will look forward to working collaboratively with the Vineyard Columbus worship community.

      In this role, you will:

      • Lead/co-lead weekend services at Vina Westerville 3-4x/month and lead all special services and events
      • Monitor worship service 1x/month
      • Schedule and Administrate worship teams
      • Build effective volunteer teams . R ecruit, train, and deploy worship teams
      • Prepare and rehearse worship sets weekly. Monitor rehearsals and preparation when not leading. Participate in research of songs, diversity of styles, and technology

      The ideal candidate will have:

      • Bilingual language skills speaking both English and Spanish
      • Ability to direct a band/lead a rehearsal
      • Vocal/instrumental ability
      • Intermediate knowledge of current music technology
      • 2+ years’ experience in worship leading & leading a team
      • Ability to recruit, lead, train and supervise volunteers
      • Friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with all kinds of people
      • Able to work flexible hours, be available on evenings and weekends as program requires
      • Commitment to growing in musical excellence, relational development & spiritual formation
