Worship Pastor/Media Director - Redding Christian Fellowship

- Prepare biblical, relational, and intentional songs and arrangements that extend the Gospel message for corporate worship events and gatherings.
- Be mindful of serving the different generations present in corporate worship.
- Be passionate and intentional about liturgy and the order of services.
- Incorporate hymns and a variety of more modern songs (e.g., Getty Music, Bethel Music, Elevation, Hillsong, CityAlight, Shane & Shane, Norton Hall Band).
- Implement, repair, and maintain all audiovisual equipment used for corporate worship, including sound, lighting, Livestream, and presentation/projection equipment.
- Organize, inventory, and be responsible for all stage and backstage equipment maintenance.
- Shepherd and spiritually cover the music and media teams.
- Train, develop, and schedule volunteers for workshops, rehearsals, and services.
- Lead prayer, discipleship moments, and other opportunities to foster spiritual health.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff/leadership meetings.
- Use applications like Planning Center Online, ProPresenter, SongSelect, etc., to facilitate service planning.
- Assist with weddings, funerals, and special events as needed (media, sound, stage setup).
- Research, plan, and prepare for future improvement projects and goals.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of ministry experience preferred.
- 2-5 years of audiovisual/technical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in reading chord charts and transposing music; sheet music skills a plus.
- Highly skilled on one or multiple instruments; strong vocal skills.
- Organizational and event planning skills.
- Called and experienced minister with a heart of love.
- Aligned with the church's mission, vision, and doctrine.
- Humble, teachable, submissive (Romans 12:12), and servant-hearted.
- Growing in spiritual life through Bible study, prayer, and obedience.
- Maintain physical, emotional, and intellectual health.
- Healthy relationships with family and friends.
- Active member and participant in Redding Christian Fellowship.

Position Summary
The Worship Pastor/Media Director is responsible for cultivating the music and technology for our church's services and overseeing the music and media teams. This person will be a skilled vocalist who can lead from an instrument (preferably guitar or piano) and who exhibits a godly lifestyle as described in 2 Timothy 2:22. This person will also be skilled in the implementation, repair, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment and systems.
