What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits related to Advanced Wound Care and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
- Initiate and follow up on authorizations from third-party payors based on payer requirements
- Track pending authorizations to expedite the claims process
- Process authorizations electronically and secure necessary documentation for timely approvals
- Determine insurance liability and coordinate benefits while interacting with insurance companies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree or equivalent; two to four years of related experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with insurance payers and medical benefits
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
