What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with undergraduate and graduate students to help achieve their writing goals
- Provide appropriate writing instruction
- Learn and implement inclusive, anti-racist, and accessible writing center pedagogy
- Mentor students with affirming and actionable feedback
- Teach students from various disciplines across campus
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate student status enrolled at UW-Madison
- Experience responding to student writing or teaching writing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to accessible and socially just pedagogies
- Ability to complete session reports in a timely manner
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Providing one-to-one instruction at a writing center
- Presenting information to large groups
